#1 Untie the shoes
#2 Hold the tree at a 45 degree angle
#3 Push the tree in as far as it will go
#4 Push in from the heel the rest of the way

P.S. Always make sure to get the proper shoe tree for you’re shoe. You’re libel to mess them up if you put the wrong tree in there.
