Sometimes, you forget how much your parents really love you.

I know, I know, it sounds crazy; but it’s true.

Growing up, you can sometimes walk out of the house not even saying bye to your parents. Or even shrugging off everything they tell you as them nagging. No one can deny any of these things. We’ve all done it more than once.

I mean, we can even go a long period of time without telling our parents how much we love them.

These past few weeks haven’t been the greatest on a personal level for me. It’s probably been the worst couple of weeks I’ve had in a long time. But as some say, in the toughest times you find out things about yourself you didn’t realize before.

One thing I did realize was how unconditional my parents love is for me; and how distant I’ve been to them despite being a model son.

I realized how they will always be there for me when I need advice. How they will always be there for me on an emotional level. How they will always love me no matter what.

I’m sorry if at times I seemed distant. It will never happen again.
