Those are my babies. That’s them. This pic doesn’t bring out the true essence of these well crafted pieces of Italian leather. Enough self shoe aggrandization.

Well, I’m not going to say their my favorite loafers (Ferragamo’s make better ones), but I remember when I went on EBAY back in 05 and saw these maravillas (amazing in Spanish), I fell in love. I went into my pocket and dropped a good amount of Barack (change) for these, but they were well worth it.

My man Grapevine Hill blessed me with these. If you’ve ever been on EBAY and bought any type of footwear, you know who this OG is. The guy got the market cornered like Deion and never gets burned like DeAngelo Hall.

Damn near four years later, they are still standing strong. The curl at the front is a little scuffed, but that’s barely noticeable. I’ve bought some loafers in between that time and they haven’t performed as well as these. I actually gave some away to the Salvation Army and some cousins in DR because they weren’t doing the job for me. Back to my Bacco’s, the gold bar on the tongue doesn’t even have a scratch on them and that’s a testament to my shoe care taking abilities.

But I do know that one day I will step in that puddle or run into a piece of glass or something sharp and they will be gone forever. But until then, I’ve actually been scouring the internet for these throughout the last few years, but have found absolutely nothing. But, I will be emailing Bacco a picture of my footsies with them on and asking him if these were ever re-issued or still available. I threw away the box like a fool and regret it to this day.

I suggest anyone who likes Bacco, to go on Piperlime.com. They have some stuff there, but its a bit sub-par. But everyone has different taste and if you like them, that means you have bad taste, but to each his own
