I didn’t even know the truck was back until I went to Inwoodite.Com and Tacosporvida (credit with the photo and are both great blogs) and saw them have a post about it.

The truck disappeared for a while, but I’m glad its back. Does anyone else remember the guy who stood on Post and Dyckman in the summer making burgers? I think the NYPD found out he didn’t have a license and banned him from that corner. He used to make so much money in the summertime with those burgers he fried up.

As he’s gone, I suppose the taco truck has its license because its been here for a while and will stay (thank god). The taco truck provides great food and is run by great people. The spicy pork taco is pictured above and I’ve never tasted that one, but it sure does look good. I always get a basic, run of the mill taco and add some sauce to it.

But I must say, as much as I love them, like us Dominicans and everyone for that matter in Dyckman don’t eat enough bad food with all the arroz, habichuelas and carne I’ve taken in in my 25 years. Now, Jimbo’s, Dyckman Express, Mofongo House, and the taco stand returned? It’s like we can’t escape food…but boy is it good.
