Last night, I was running through my extensive CD collection and got down to ranking all my favorite albums, songs, and artists. I actually had fun doing it late into the night.

Thanks Jo. I appreciate it.
I am always dancing to Bobby in the crib on weekends Lol.
I heard Rakim was at the Apple Store last night or something.
I like the photography and recognized one of the girls in one of your pictures on the site for Sapphire Lounge.
Keep up the great work girl. I’ll be a regular visitor to your blog.

nice list, but if you’d like to expand your hip hop horizons = try KRS1
He and Grandmaster Melle Mel, of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, won all the free style competitions in NYC for a reason…mostly KRS1 won
The Roots are a band who falls into many categories, which I respect a lot

I listen to them to 3rdstone but most of the guys I picked aside from Rakim, I listened to while growing up. I love KRS though.

Red is a legend man. His pre 97 albums are all 4 mics and up. He’s also a way better lyricist and artist than that bum Method Mad.
